On the sidelines of the Warsaw Security Forum 2026, the Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, held a meeting with his Lithuanian counterpart, Minister Robertas Kaunas.
During this meeting, discussions focused on deepening cooperation in the field of defense, Kosovo’s Comprehensive Defense Program, which has similarities to Lithuania’s total defense system, as well as opportunities for cooperation in the development of the defense industry.
On this occasion, Minister Kaunas expressed his gratitude for Kosovo’s contribution to the demining coalition, highly commending our engagement in this field.
Meanwhile, Minister Maqedonci emphasized that cooperation with Lithuania represents an important opportunity to advance our defense capabilities.
Both sides reaffirmed the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in support of shared security and the development of defense capabilities.
