The Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, today participated in an event with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo and the Embassy of the United States of America, where they discussed opportunities for cooperation, investment, and the involvement of the private sector in the development of the defense industry.
The Republic of Kosovo is taking concrete steps toward the development of the defense industry, through the development of the legal framework as well as the necessary practical capabilities.
In this regard, the Ministry of Defense will continue to work toward establishing a sustainable legal and institutional framework, as well as developing practical capabilities that will enable the establishment of a defense industry based on technology, innovation, and partnerships with allies.
