Acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, together with the Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, today participated in the solemn ceremony for the awarding of the “Presidential Military Medal” to the Defense Attaché of the United States of America to the Republic of Kosovo, Colonel A. J. Berg, who was decorated by the Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, on the occasion of the completion of his mandate.
This decoration constitutes an expression of institutional appreciation for the significant contribution of Colonel Berg to the strengthening of military cooperation and the strategic partnership between the Republic of Kosovo and the United States of America.
During his mandate, Colonel Berg has contributed to the advancement of the capacities of the Kosovo Security Force, the modernization processes, the development of the defense industry, as well as to the expansion of opportunities for military training and education.
