The Acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, today held a meeting with students of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Prishtina, during which the prospects of the development of the defense industry in the Republic of Kosovo and the opportunities it creates for new generations of engineers and professionals were discussed.
The discussion also focused on the importance of strengthening domestic capacities and the role that the university, students, and academic staff can play in this process of strategic importance to our country.
The Minister assessed that fields such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechatronics, and robotics represent significant potential for involvement in the projects and production capacities of the defense industry.
The Ministry of Defense remains committed to strengthening cooperation between higher education and the defense industry, with the aim of creating concrete opportunities for the professional development of students and harnessing their potential in support of strengthening the defense capabilities of the Republic of Kosovo.
