Trilateral Meeting Kosovo – Albania – Croatia Held

This activity constitutes one of the actions within the framework of the implementation of the fields of cooperation agreed between the parties.

The delegation of the Republic of Kosovo was led by the Director of Defence Policies, Mr Faruk Geci, during which views were exchanged regarding the possibilities for advancing cooperation in the field of defence capabilities, cooperation between the defense industries of the signatory countries, as well as the further steps for the implementation of the Declaration.

The Declaration defines four main areas of further trilateral cooperation, which include the promotion of cooperation in the field of defense capabilities and the defense industry, the enhancement of interoperability through education, training and joint exercises, the addressing of hybrid threats and the strengthening of resilience, as well as the provision of continuous and full support for Euro-Atlantic integration.

Furthermore, the Joint Trilateral Declaration reaffirmed the commitment to further strengthening trilateral cooperation in the field of security and defence among Croatia, Albania and Kosovo, with the aim of increasing security and stability in South-Eastern Europe. In this context, the importance of coordinated efforts to address new security challenges, hybrid threats and other risks that may undermine regional and international stability was emphasized.
