The first day of this Conference was attended by the Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj, the Deputy Minister of Defense, Shemsi Syla, the Deputy Commander of the KSF, Major General Enver Cikaqi, the Chief of Staff of KFOR, Brigadier General John B. Bozicevic, the director of NALT, Brigadier General Joachim Hoppe, officials and senior officers of the Ministry of Defense and KSF, ambassadors, defense attachés as well as other diplomatic and military representatives of all partner states.
In his speech to those present, Minister Mehaj emphasized that together with the partner countries we will develop our forces for the defense of the country and implement the vision for membership in NATO.
"I thank all our international partners, who with their presence at this Conference and with their continuous support, as well as continuous cooperation, have contributed to the strengthening of the KSF, where as a result the KSF is able to give dedication, professionalism and discipline, proving that it can contribute to peace and security at the international level as well", emphasized Minister Mehaj, also expressing special thanks to the USA and other European allies, for their irreplaceable contribution to strengthening KSF as well as in the successful implementation process of the Comprehensive 10-year Transition Plan.
While the deputy commander of the KSF, Major General Enver Cikaqi, in his speech expressed his conviction that this Conference helps in raising and deepening mutual activities and in support of raising the capacities of the KSF.
The Chief of Staff of KFOR, Brigadier General John B. Bozicevic, the Director of NALT, Brigadier General Joachim Hoppe, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Kosovo, Nicholas Abbott, and the Ambassador of Turkey to Turkey also addressed those present. Kosovo, Çagri Sakar.
The international conference "FSK and partners 2022" will continue tomorrow, with working sessions at the level of meetings with representatives of partner countries separately, for the synchronization of concept plans for the following one-year period.
