The delegation included senior leaders of the security institutions of the Republic of Albania, as well as military and civilian personnel from NATO member states, including Türkiye, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Poland, as well as from partner states such as Jordan.
The main topic of the meeting was security in the Western Balkans, the impact of the war in Ukraine, as well as the commitment of the Republic of Kosovo to advancing reforms in the defense sector. In this context, the importance of guaranteeing the constitutional mission of the Kosovo Security Force was emphasized, as well as the progress towards membership in NATO and integration into the European Union.
Minister Maqedonci also emphasized the necessity of deepening regional cooperation, underlining the steps undertaken by Kosovo and its European vision, closely interconnected with partnership with neighboring countries and the joint engagement for the preservation of peace, security and Western values.
In conclusion, the Minister wished the participants further success, describing them as future leaders in the field of security and defense.
