Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci today welcomed the new KFOR Commander in Kosovo, Major General Roberto Vergori, congratulated him on assuming his new position, and wished him success in fulfilling his mandate.
During the meeting, discussions focused on recent developments in the field of security and defense, the importance of ongoing communication and coordination, as well as the further advancement of cooperation between the institutions and KFOR.
The Minister also stated that the membership of the Republic of Kosovo in NATO remains a strategic priority and a key objective for the country’s future.
The Republic of Kosovo remains committed to working closely with KFOR and international partners in order to maintain peace, security, and stability in the country.
