The Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, together with the Commander of the KSF, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, welcomed the members of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, with whom they discussed developments in the defense sector and the Republic of Kosovo’s cooperation with the member states of the Alliance.
During the meeting, the Minister briefed those present on the progress made in strengthening and modernizing the KSF, the implementation of NATO doctrines, as well as the alignment of procured weapons systems and equipment with the Alliance’s standards, thereby demonstrating the clear strategic and institutional orientation of the Republic of Kosovo. Minister Maqedonci also emphasized the commitment of the Republic of Kosovo to being a reliable partner and an active contributor to maintaining international peace and security.
Membership in NATO remains a strategic objective of the Republic of Kosovo. The institutional commitment to achieving this objective remains unwavering.
