The Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, hosted a meeting today with a group of European diplomats and experts, within the framework of the “The Enlargement Strategic Dialogues” initiative, organized by the Astro-French Center for Rapprochement in Europe, with the support of the “Open Society Foundations.”
On this occasion, they discussed together developments in the Ministry of Defense and the Kosovo Security Force, the process of developing capabilities, and the security situation in the region and beyond.
Minister Maqedonci shared with those present Kosovo’s perspective on hybrid threats and security challenges, as well as the measures being undertaken together with our partners to address them.
“An important achievement is also Kosovo’s contribution beyond our borders, through its engagement in international operations in support of peace in Europe and the Middle East,” the Minister emphasized on this occasion.
The Republic of Kosovo is committed to building a modern and professional force, while at the same time being an active contributor to security and peace in the world.
