During the meeting, the overall security situation, current developments, and the importance of maintaining lasting peace and security in the region were discussed.
Minister Maqedonci and Ambassador Kraevski commended the good relations between Kosovo and Bulgaria, as well as the importance of continuing and further deepening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that Bulgaria, as a member of NATO and the European Union, remains an important partner of Kosovo. Its contribution over the years to peace and security in Kosovo through its participation in KFOR was recognized as evidence of Bulgaria’s continued commitment to stability and security in Kosovo and the region.
Bulgaria’s continued support for Kosovo in its Euro-Atlantic integration processes was also highly appreciated.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their readiness to continue their joint engagement and further advance cooperation between Kosovo and Bulgaria in pursuit of their shared objectives in the field of security and defense.
