The Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, today participated in the interinstitutional exercise “Digital Siege 2026,” where he addressed professionals from public, academic, and banking institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
On this occasion, he emphasized that the development and advancement of the KSF’s capabilities in the field of cybersecurity continue to remain a priority.
“We will continue to invest in knowledge, technology, and professionalism, as well as strengthen cooperation with local institutions and our strategic partners, to ensure a safer and more resilient Republic of Kosovo in the face of future challenges,” Minister Maqedonci stated, among other things.
Cybersecurity is a key component of national security. Addressing contemporary threats requires advanced capabilities, professional preparedness, and close interinstitutional cooperation.
This exercise marks the first of its kind conducted by the State Training Center for Cybersecurity. The operationalization of the Center within the KSF has been supported by the Embassy of the United States of America in Kosovo, demonstrating the importance of partnership in developing our capabilities in the field of cybersecurity.
