The Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, today participated in Croatian Business Day in Kosovo (Croatian Business Day in Kosovo 2026), organized by the European Investors Council, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Kosovo.
As part of this activity, Minister Maqedonci, during the panel entitled “Opportunities in Defense Technology and Dual-Use Industries,” discussed the development of the defense industry, new technologies, as well as opportunities for investment and cooperation between Kosovo, Croatia, and European partners.
The development of the defense industry is an important priority of the Ministry of Defense. Investments in this sector, in addition to strengthening defense and security capabilities, create new opportunities for innovation, technology, economic development, and cooperation with the domestic industry and international partners.
Minister Maqedonci emphasized Kosovo’s commitment to expanding partnerships and creating a suitable environment for investment in defense technologies and dual-use industries. Cooperation with the Republic of Croatia and European partners is important for advancing these fields.
