Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci met today with a delegation from the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR), with whom he discussed security developments in Kosovo and the Western Balkans.
Minister Maqedonci briefed the ECFR representatives on the progress made in developing Kosovo’s defense capabilities and on Kosovo’s determination to advance toward membership in the European Union and NATO.
During the meeting, he also emphasized the importance of the European Union holding Serbia accountable for its destabilizing actions toward Kosovo and other countries in the region.
Long-term peace and stability require these actions to be addressed decisively and through a clear and unified European approach.
