Initially, the topic of discussion at this meeting was the security situation in the country and the region and the current challenges that could threaten peace and general stability.
Then, Minister Mehaj informed the German parliamentarians about the commitment to the advancement and development of the Ministry of Defense and the KSF, according to the standards of the NATO countries, the process of realizing the Ten-Year Transition Plan of the KSF, the achievements so far in terms of legislative reform, strategic documents, regional and Euro-Atlantic integration policies, as well as in relation to peacekeeping and humanitarian operations.
On this occasion, the possibilities of increasing cooperation between the two countries were discussed, in function of the interests of partnership in the field of security and defense, as well as the possibility of exchanging common experiences between the ministries and forces of the two countries.
