Acting Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci participated in the 35th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, held at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
At this meeting, attended by approximately 50 Ministers of Defense from NATO member states and partner countries, participants discussed the latest security developments and the situation in Ukraine.
During the meeting, chaired by the German Minister of Defense, Boris Pistorius, together with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and the United Kingdom’s Secretary of State for Defence, Dan Jarvis, unwavering support for Ukraine was reaffirmed in defending its sovereignty, freedom, and territorial integrity against Russian aggression.
On the margins of the meeting, Minister Maqedonci held productive discussions with NATO officials and Ministers of Defense from partner countries, focusing on defense cooperation and current security challenges.
The Republic of Kosovo remains committed to standing alongside its partners and allies in support of global peace and security.
