On this occasion, the Minister expressed his gratitude for Germany’s unwavering 26-year support to KFOR, which has served as a key and irreplaceable factor in maintaining peace and stability, as well as in preventing the disruption of the security system in the region.
The Minister emphasized that the Republic of Kosovo continues to demonstrate its commitment as a reliable partner in the field of security. Through the engagement of the Kosovo Security Force in international missions, including Kuwait and the Falkland Islands, Kosovo actively contributes to coalition operations and to strengthening regional and overall stability.
According to the Minister, membership in NATO remains a strategic objective of the Republic of Kosovo. In this context, the Minister emphasized the importance of the role of the Defense Committee as an influential voice within the Alliance, expressing the expectation that this institution will continue to support Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
Among others, the Minister affirmed that the Republic of Kosovo remains deeply committed to transparency, accountability, and the rule of law, as fundamental standards that constitute the basis of any serious partnership in the field of defense.
Finally, it was firmly stated that cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Federal Republic of Germany continues to grow, supported by shared democratic values and mutual trust.
