In this meeting, they talked about the general situation in the country, region and beyond, the Comprehensive Transition Plan of the KSF, international cooperation, the integration of minority communities and the increase in the number of women and girls in the KSF.
Also, Deputy Minister Syla emphasized the commitment of the Ministry of Defense and the position of the Republic of Kosovo in the context of challenges, threats and dangers in the current security environment and the current geopolitical reality, especially after the Russian aggression in Ukraine.
For her part, the deputy assistant to the Secretary General of NATO, Burcu San, emphasized that she is satisfied with the progress achieved in the development of the Ministry of Defense and the KSF and with the good cooperation with KFOR, which is vigilant in providing security in the country and providing freedom of movement for all citizens.
With special emphasis, there was a conversation about the NATO integration process of the Republic of Kosovo, where Deputy Minister Syla announced on this occasion the strategic objectives of the Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj in the development and advancement of the KSF, the goals in the field of diplomacy defense, international cooperation as well as engagement in the Euro-Atlantic integration processes of the Republic of Kosovo and its Government.
