During the meeting, interinstitutional cooperation and the support of the Ministry of Defense and the Kosovo Security Force to the local authorities in the management of emergencies were discussed, with the focus on risk assessment, emergency planning, response, evacuation, sheltering, training, and the enhancement of local capacities, as well as the establishment of the Local Emergency Operations Center.
Deputy Minister Syla emphasized the commitment of MoD and the KSF to strengthening civil-military cooperation and building a functional and sustainable emergency management system in accordance with contemporary standards.
Major Thaqi welcomed the institutional support, reaffirming the commitment of the municipality to the safety and protection of the citizens.
