In order to provide assistance to the National Blood Transfusion Center and all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, the invitation for voluntary blood donation, along with the officials and military, was also answered by the Deputy Minister of Defense, Shemsi Syla, as well as the American adviser to the Minister Mehaj, Thomas Niblock.
Over the course of two weeks, about a thousand KSF soldiers from all barracks and officials of the Ministry of Defense have donated blood.
The action for voluntary blood donation has been organized based on the 2022 operational plan, in coordination with the Medical Center of the Kosovo Security Force and the Kosovo National Center for Blood Transfusion (KKKTGJ).
In addition to the regular annual actions for voluntary blood donation, the officials and soldiers of the MoD and KSF constantly respond to requests for blood donation, both from citizens and from our health institutions.
