As part of bilateral cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense, Gafurr Dugolli, and the German Defense Attaché in Kosovo, Lieutenant Colonel Guido Altendorf, today signed the agreement for the German donation project, Enable & Enhance Initiative. Also present at the meeting were the Director of the Ministry of Defense’s Department of Logistics and Infrastructure, Colonel Imer Avdiu, the Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of Germany in Kosovo, Silke Bellmann, as well as representatives of NATO’s Advisory Liaison Team (NALT), Lieutenant Colonel Fabian Vogl and Major Claus Schumm.
On this occasion, Secretary General Gafurr Dugolli, expressing gratitude for the Federal Republic of Germany’s continued support for the Republic of Kosovo, emphasized the importance of this cooperation and expressed his belief that it continue through other projects in the field of security and defense.
This project, with a value approximately three million euros, aims to advance the operational capabilities of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), in fulfillment of the mission of the Kosovo Security Force. The project is a continuation of projects implemented to date within the framework of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Federal Republic of Germany.
