During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the development of domestic defense industry capacities in Kosovo. In this context, the ammunition factory project was addressed, which is expected to be implemented within this year and to represent an entirely domestic investment. Likewise, the parties discussed the expansion of cooperation with Turkish defense industry companies, future procurement processes, as well as opportunities for the development of joint production projects.
Within the framework of participation in this fair, Minister Maqedonci, together with Secretary Görgün, also held meetings with the Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye, Cevdet Yılmaz, as well as with the Chief Executive Officer of Baykar and founder of SAHA EXPO, Haluk Bayraktar, with whom they also visited several company stands participating in the fair.
The relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Türkiye, built on the basis of trust and mutual cooperation, continue to strengthen and deepen, thereby contributing to the preservation of peace, security, and regional development.
