The topic of discussion was also cooperation in the field of security, joint winter training between the two forces and the exchange of experience of the Finnish Army, regarding the concept of the voluntary reserve, which will soon be a form of service in our army as well.

On this occasion, Minister Mehaj informed his counterpart about the development of the KSF, the implementation of the General Transition Plan, as well as the readiness to provide all the necessary assistance in NATO missions, as it is done by assisting in the operation for the evacuation of Afghan refugees, as well as providing training for the Ukrainian military.

Minister Mehaj reiterated once again that: "our aim is to offer our contribution to general security, therefore membership in NATO is our most important objective".

On the other hand, the Acting Minister, Savola, highly appreciated the cooperation of the KSF with KFOR and expressed the readiness for cooperation in a situation where the goal of membership in NATO and the maintenance of stability and peace remain the main efforts of daily engagement.
