311 new KSF recruits were sworn in at the “Adem Jashari” barracks

In his speech to those present, Minister Mehaj emphasized that the group certified today is special because they are the largest group that has ever been certified in the FSK, i.e. a total of 311.

"Today, when we are successfully concluding this recruitment process, I inform you that on November 28, we will open the new competition for the acceptance of 612 active soldiers and 376 reserve soldiers. This is necessary and necessary to further develop our Army and to strengthen our capacities in defense of the country and to guarantee peace", said Minister Mehaj on this occasion, adding that guaranteeing peace requires high preparation , as well as raising operational and professional capacities.

Meanwhile, the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, said that the Army of Kosovo belongs to the state and the people, which aims to integrate into NATO. "Our orientation is clear. We want to be part of NATO, the most powerful alliance in the world which included democratic states. We are not a state that has territorial claims, we are a Democratic Republic", said Speaker Konjufca, adding that our state is equal for all our citizens regardless of ethnicity, gender, religion or affiliation.

The Deputy Commander of the Doctrine and Training Command, Colonel Mehmet Lladrovci, said that the 311 new recruits have successfully completed the basic training, officially receiving the status of "Soldier of Kosovo".

Young soldiers are the new asset of the KSF, in terms of skills and operational capacities, who will start their career in the KSF, as professional soldiers in the service of fulfilling legal duties.
