In 2009, when Kosovo Security Force was founded, General Jashari became part of the Ministry of Kosovo Security Force appointed as the Inspector General for the KSF. His role was a key factor in the KSF`s transition process, he ensured that the MoD/KSF`s staff were handling this process in accordance with laws and regulations. He was promoted to Major General in March 2018, and due to ministry`s transformation was re-appointed as the Inspector General. In November 2021 by presidential decree, General Jashari assumed the command of the Kosovo Security Force.
