General Rama on an official visit to Supreme Headquarter of Europe Allied Forces

KSF Commander Lt General Rrahman Rama was on official visit to Europe Allied Forces Headquarter in Mons of Belgium, and met with Supreme Allied Commander in Europe General Ted Walters. General Rama expressed his gratitude to general Walters for NATO troops in KFOR mission, for the benefit of overall security situation in Kosovo, along with the general continues support for sustainable development of our country. Moreover, general Rama also expressed his thankfulness for the commitment of NATO advisory and liaison team towards KSF development and professionalism in all areas. He briefed general Walters on KSF overall achievements, transition process, as well as extent of development of KSF defensive capacities. General Rama also stated that whole KSF operational capacities are developing in compliance with NATO standards in order for them to be interoperable with armed forces of NATO members. Given this fact, general Rama expressed the readiness and availability of KSF capacities to partake in Alliance peacekeeping operations, and to provide its contribution in preserving the general peace, stability and security. From his side, general Walters hailed general Rama and expressed his admiration for KSF achievements, as well as its contribution in preserving security stability and overall prosperity home and region. Among many things, he reiterated the NATO commitment for peace, stability in Kosovo and beyond. Bothe generals talked about the continuation of NATO cooperation through KFOR mechanism and other NATO capacities with KSF, in exchanging experiences towards increasing KSF capacities and professionalism.
