Kosovo Security Force helps our municipalities in coping with COVID-19 pandemic
Today, at the “Adem Jashari “ barrack respectively at KSF Medical Centre, was held the handover donation ceremony from the Federal Republic of Germany with medical materials to cope with COVID-19 pandemic crisis.On the behalf of the donor state, the donation was handed over by the Director of NATO Advisory and Liaison Team (NALT) Brigadier General Frank Best, while on behalf of Ministry of Defense and KSF, the donation was received by KSF Deputy Commander, Major General Enver Cikaqi accompanied by the director of KSF Medical Center, Dr. Shkëlzen Syla.Furthermore, based on preliminary plan of MCKSF, ordered by KFS Commander, Lieutenant General Rrahman Rama, in full coordination and cooperation with senior German military staff, began the distribution operation of relevant donation materials in the planned municipalities inhabited by all communities in Kosovo.The first contingent of the representative donation was given to the Main Family Medicine Center in Motrovica. General Cikaqi, Gerneral Besyand Dr. Syla also participated, and they were hosted by Deputy Mayor of Mitrovica, Faruk Mujka with his associated as well as the management staff of Relevant Medicine Center. Initially, Mr. Mujka of the behalf of MFMC staff and his municipality citizens expressed his great appreciation and gratitude to KSF and German state for their assistance provided in this period.From their side, General Cikaqi and Dr. Syla briefed the participants with the project content and expressed their commitment to continue the KSF activities with all available capabilities and operational capacities for military support of civil authorities and our citizens in dealing with COVID-19 pandemic crises and other needs.The distribution of relevant medical materials will continue following the next five days in the municipalities of: Viti, Hani Elezit, Kaqanik, Mamushë, Dragash, Suharekë, Obiliq, Vushtrri, Kmenicë, Shtërpc, Drenas, Lipjan, Fushë Kosovë, Junik, Deçan, Skenderaj, Istog, Vitomiricë and Podujevë.
